This year’s Founder Track features an exciting array of diverse, insightful events.
Some will be highly informative. For entrepreneurs interested in learning about the nuts and bolts of running a successful startup, we have events that focus on:
- Entity Formation
- Raising Capital
- Intellectual Property
- Marketing Your Startup to Larger Companies
- HR for Startups
We also have events that focus on the more human side of being an entrepreneur, during which several founders will get the chance to tell their startup stories. Those events include:
- A Keynote from ConvertKit Founder and CEO, Nathan Barry
- A panel discussion on Startup Culture in Boise
- A fireside chat with Eric Breon, CEO of Vacasa
- An Ignite-style event, with short stories from several founders, moderated by Jeff Reynolds
This year’s Pitch Competition will connect some of Boise’s best startup mentors with admitted applicants in a series of workshops designed to prepare the founders to pitch their businesses to professional investors.
The workshops will be facilitated by Will Fowler of the Small Business Development Center, who has advised hundreds of startups on their pitch presentations and seen many of them successfully find growth capital.
Demo Day will take place on Friday, October 6, during which founders will get the chance to pitch their companies to local and regional investors. The winning founders will be eligible to receive a prize package designed to help grow their businesses.
